Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. This full-time, in-office role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to leverage their expertise in accounting management and leadership within a dynamic environment. This position will have direct oversight of payroll, and accounts payable. Located in Southwest Phoenix. Qualified candidates MUST have experience in managing both Payroll and AP.

Responsibilities

  • Manage General Ledger (GL) accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions.
  • Conduct comprehensive accounting analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management.
  • Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Supervise a team of three direct reports, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial goals.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Must have experience supervising staff in both payroll & AP
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Experience using SAP software preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, with a first-shift schedule. This position is 100% in-office.

Benefits

Max Pay is $115,000. Min Pay is $95,000.00 + bonus
